PEP Rolls Out Multifunction Printer Installation, Specialty Printing Portal
New multifunction printer installation and initial training will occur between December 8 - 20

PEP is full steam ahead with implementation after the DOCUmation campus walkthroughs.

Multifunction Printer Installation

The PEP team is scheduled to swap out multifunction printer equipment between December 8-20 to ensure no gap in service.

“It’s important to us to make this process as smooth as possible. We are trying to do this in all aspects,” says Michelle Bartonico, organizational change manager for PEP. “For example, we created time slots using input from our change liaisons and other faculty and staff about which weeks are least disruptive. Offices and departments can schedule a time slot that works best for their area.”

If faculty and staff would like to see or test the machine prior to their installation date, there is one available and fully configured in the ITS suite (first floor of Coates Library).

Specialty Printing

With the switch to DOCUmation, the University now has a virtual print shop. All requests should be submitted to the Tiger Print portal. The first version of the Tiger Print portal is now available and able to fulfill specialty printing requests to ensure there's no gap in service. A more robust and refined version will go live in January.

Take a first look at the Tiger Print portal.

Pro tip: All first-time Tiger Print users will register to the portal. Once you register, you will just have a login to the portal thereafter. The current login doesn’t have a single sign-on option, but discussions are underway to include this functionality in version 2.
